Michael Kraus Associates, LLC is a boutique full-service manufacturers’ representative agency based in New York since 2004. We have experience with nearly all areas of the lighting industry, such as corporate, residential, hospitality, retail, and custom lighting. Our mission is to provide outstanding representation to manufacturers, the best products to customers, and high-quality knowledge and customer service to all. We have over 30 plus years of combined sales experience, which has helped us become leaders in the lighting industry.
We make it a priority to stay active in the lighting community so we are always up-to-date on new technologies and other cutting-edge lighting concepts. We attend the annual Lightovation, LightFair, and other lighting conventions. Michael Kraus Associates, LLC is also a proud member of the American Lighting Association, Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY), LEDucation, and NEWH.

Michael Kraus
President
Michael is the President of Michael Kraus Associates, LLC. Michael brings 25 years of experience as an independent manufacturers’ sales representative to the agency. With Michael’s extensive experience in the lighting industry, he has worked in all fields of lighting such as corporate, residential, hospitality, retail, and custom lighting. Prior to forming Michael Kraus Associates in 2004, Michael spent twenty years in the retail paint industry.
Mitchell Kraus
Vice President of Sales and E-Commerce
Mitchell is the Vice President of Sales and E-Commerce of Michael Kraus Associates, LLC. Mitchell’s lighting sales expertise includes corporate, residential, hospitality, retail and custom lighting. He works amongst a wide variety of industries, including e-commerce, showrooms, architects, lighting designers, general contractors, real estate developers, and more. Mitchell has nearly ten years of sales experience and is known for his excellent customer service. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Buffalo in 2013.

We are a full-service agency providing several services to manufacturers and customers, including acting as a liaison between the manufacturer and the customer by providing quality representation to the manufacturer and stellar customer service to the customer; working with each customer’s budget to ensure that all needs and price points are satisfied; and communicating with customers to explain the specifics of the manufacturers’ products.
